Now I hate encouraging people to shop at chain stores just because of the ill care they give to our cold blooded friends. But today I went to pet*co And they have a spectacular sale they are offering to their "pals" members (you just get a store discount card). Anyway this deal is Tanks $1.00 per gallon! This offer includes 10G, 20G High, 20G long, 29G, 40G, and 55G tanks. I figured id share the word since all too often we pay way too much for tanks for our cold blooded friends. this sale ends on 7-17-10. I have no affiliation with that store, i am not an employee just figured id pass the savings onto my community members whom i know always are lookin to expand the collection lol. :main_thumbsup:

Craigslist Baby!! Always has the lowest price for Tanks and supplies lol. I just found a 6X2X1.5 Cage for my Big Female boa for $40. Going to pick it up in the morning.

is it any specific brand that is on sale? and is it all stores nationwide or just local? i looked online and couldn't find it anywhere

The stupid Wal-Mart here doesn't even carry 20 gallon tanks, only 10 gallon tanks, which really aggrevates me.

hey tommy i looked on craigslist last night and there was a guy selling a ton of tanks. heres some info: 10 GALLON = $ 5.00 EACH 42 TOTAL 20X10X12"
20 GALLON = $ 15.00 EACH 11 TOTAL 30X12X12"
50 GALLON = $ 50.00 EACH 34 TOTAL 36X18X18"

These tanks were used in a retail aquarium store. All tanks had cooper and other medications run through them. I am successfully using these tanks in a reef enviroment with no issues. Some were used for freshwater, and others for saltwater. All tanks are drilled in the upper corner. The 100's are drilled on the end. All tanks will need cleaned prior to use. These came out of the store and went into storage. They were used for 5 years. I will not guarantee these tanks. ALL HAVE PAINTED SIDES AND BACKS. These are perfect for a fish room, frag system, ect. With a little TLC they would make bargain display tanks.
LET YOUR FRESHWATER FRIENDS KNOW TOO.
