GREAT ideas and a GREAT discussion! LOL@the thong (don't wanna go there!). I think a baseball cap is a great idea! And I think the earlier suggestion of a poster sounded REALLY COOL! I'd certainly buy one, and a coffee mug if they were to become available! I'll keep watchin for info.

What about business cards? Could there be a template available for download (maybe a 2 x 3" .jpg?), so that each forum member who wanted to could buy some of those Avery sheet do-it-yourself business cards and print them out at home - to pass out at petstores and such? This would also provide a great place (the back of the card) for the member to put personal contact info if they wanted to offer local help/support beyond the forum.

Or, instead of the print-our-own, VistaPrint has some awesome deals - I'd love a card as simple as the logo in the upper left of the forum.

I'll be taking care of everything as soon as I can. I appreciate the offer, but I want to create everything uniform and consistent. I'm sure we can have some fun with posters, but there's no rush on them.

As much as I like CafePRESS (

RYAN) I'd have to say the best way to do this is to have business cards made insted of the stickers. The price for the sickers is not worth it for advertising. I think a card with a space for referals for members to write their user name would be a great idea. I had actually been toying with the idea of printing up some for myself. I think Cafepress would work out for all the fun stuff.

This is exactly what I plan to do. It takes me about an hour to shut off my brain when I'm trying to sleep. I was thinking about the business cards and wanted to setup a spot to put the referrals user name. We wont really be able to track any business card referrals, but its just nice to have your user name on there so they can find you later.

The CafePress stuff will be there so people can help support the site and get something in return. A small part of the purchase will go the the upkeep and future upgrades of the forum, and in the meantime you get a cool little piece of merch to show your support.

The stickers was the original idea. It's since morphed into a fantastic idea. We really should have thought of this sooner. I can't wait to get everything setup. I'll keep everyone posted.

I kind of agree with the buisness card idea, with stickers and too much advertising i wouldhnt want it to get like KS where the ratio of knowledgable to "can me leo eat its poo?" people is 1:10

i like the idea of the business cards and putting your whatnot on the back or whatever... but the overall idea is cool. bumper stickers with the simple logo would be cool too.
