I was scoping out petco again in hopes of copping some of those magnetic reptile dens again for under half price...no such luck.

As i was there i couldnt help but overhear :main_laugh: the lady speaking with a worker about her leopard gecko.

"it isn't eating and these heat lights keep blowing out"

The UTH's are right next to me so i say waht they heck - I grab one and walk over to the lady and let her know whats up.

geckos...belly heat....no sand....the whole nine.

I sold her mad stuff at that petco I should of made commission.

when i left i wish i reffered them to this site so they could get proper care...which makes the sticker idea come into play.

i could of been like hey here is a sticker for this site....even though i could of told them but people can't remember things.


summary: we should make gf.net stickers even if they require a donation or have to cost X amount of dollars.:main_thumbsup:

Thats a good idea, when i was on kingsnake forums i had one that said my snake is bigger than yours. Something catchy like that would be great idea

Maybe we can set up a Cafe Express account with GeckoForums merchandise. Does anyone know if you can get stickers made through them? I'll have to look when I'm finished eating. I like the idea though.

We really should have thought of this sooner.

I realize there is a money issue here, but I think magnets would work much better than stickers. This is probably one of the best ideas I have heard in a while! Great thinking!

I can take care of everything, I just want to run this by Kelli quick. I'm kicking myself for not thinking of the Cafe Express idea until now. All it took was the mention of a sticker. Thanks!

I just ran the Cafe Express idea by Kelli quick and she thinks it's a great idea as well. I'll look into setting up an account and creating some merchandise that will be available to everyone. I'll keep you posted, this is pretty exciting.

I'm going to move this thread into the suggestions forum.

Is there any possibilities in something someone can actually use, like maybe a coffee mug? I'm not much of a fan of magnets or stickers, but I'd definitely spring for a mug if that's a possibility. Just a thought.:)

Yeah, with Cafe Express, you can make all sorts of things...mugs included.

By the way, I'm dumb...It's CafePress haha.

Yeah, I figured that out after 10 minutes of googling. I think the point of stickers and/or magnets is to "get the word out" about this great site with great, CORRECT herp information. Like, something we could hand out to someone headed in the wrong direction type of thing. Obviously, we could do anything (mugs, shirts), but that was the intended purposse, right? Gotta make sure I understood now...
