Once again we are faced with having our rights infringed upon. There is new legislature that will determine if ALL python species will be banned. This would mean that anyone that keeps a ball python, carpet python, green tree python, etc., will be a criminal. I, for one, keep carpets and chondros, and I know of families who have children who have balls as pets. ARE YOU WILLING TO GIVE UP YOU ANIMALS OR GO TO JAIL???

Seriously? I'm 100% for regulating who can purchase certain species as well as I would support possible microchipping and further registration of certain species. But to ban "pythons"entirely is a joke..

Not gonna lie, I'm skittish around snakes and I've even owned them.
but I voted no!

Fact about me: I'm not scared of the typical things, but am scared to death of iguanas. Childhood story goes along with that, which I won't be posting lol.

GREAT! Snakes aren't for everyone, but if this kind of legislature gets passed, it will only be the tip of the iceberg. First it's snakes, then it's parakeets, then it's poodles.
