John at Geckoboa is awesome! My experience is/was the same as yours... great communication, careful packaging, and stellar animals.

After purchasing my 3rd gecko from John I decided to finally write a report. I have nothing but good things to say. Each gecko I have bought from GeckoBoa has arrived healthy and looking how I expected it to or even more vibrant. I know I don't have to be suspicious about the pictures on the website like with some other breeders. He answered all of my questions honestly and fully.

One gecko I bought from him developed gout shortly after I purchased her (we decided it was likely a metabolic problem and not anyone's fault). My vet and I did our best to treat it, but ultimately decided she wasn't getting better and that it was most humane to euthanize her, as her quality of life was so low it would have been cruel to do anything else. I was in contact with John the whole time she was in treatment. He was supportive throughout and he offered me another gecko when I made the decision to euthanize. John was very conscientious about choosing a gecko to replace her and I was ultimately extremely happy with the one he offered to me.

An all around excellent experience.
