Description:
Water crystals are the easiest, cleanest and most efficient way to offer water to your feeders. They can be used for crickets, mealworms, superworms, roaches etc. The dry crystal will absorb water and swell to nearly 400 times their dry form. One ounce of crystals will generate more than 1 gallon of gel!

Preparing gel:

Roughly add 1-2 table spoons (this will depend on the grain size) of dry crystals to 1 gallon of water. It’s always better to have a little more water than crystals as it gives them the best opportunity to absorb the maximum amount of water. Once added to water, leave the crystals for several hours to hydrate into gel.

Directions:

For crickets, roaches etc - Offer a dish that contains the gel. The size dish and amount of gel will depend on the number of feeders you’re watering.

Mealworms and superworms - Add a small amount to the top of mealworms or superworms. It’s important not to overload them with gel because they won’t eat it quick enough which will most likely spoil their bedding.

Notes:
The easiest way to water! All my feeders receive water crystals for moisture. My roaches get the large crystals while everything else gets the medium crystals.

1 oz - $1.00 (12+ $0.75 each)

5 lbs - $34.00 ($6.80 per pound!)
