? PACKING STYROFOAM PEANUTS WITH A HEAT PACK

I read somewhere that the packing peanuts will give off toxic fumes with a heat pack. Is that true?
So, is it better to use newspaper when shipping with a heat pack?

I actually got an email from SYR this morning. They have never heard of this, and ship with styrofoam peanuts and heat packs with no problems. Glad to hear that!!!

I asked about this too and was told packing with peanuts might be hazardous to my health (I.e. i would be shot if there was a peanut explosion in their home) but should be okay for the gecko

I have not heard of any issues, but I much prefer crumpled newspaper for the fit, the cleanliness (those peanuts get everywhere!) and the recycling aspect.
