First-Time Shipper: A Few Questions

I am getting more into breeding geckos now, and I'm planning on shipping the offspring once they are large enough. How large of a container should you ship them in? Also, what type of ventilation should i provide? I am clear that under warm temps, I should use a cold pack, and heat pack when it's cold. Could someone give me the guidelines (in terms of Fahrenheit temperature)? And if they are different, how do you weigh the departing temperature from the destination temperature and decide which to use? Thanks!

According to them, if the high for the day at your origination, destination and mid-point (if you know what that is) is at least 37F, you should be OK. If it's marginal, put a heat pack in. I just shipped 30 geckos to FL in marginal weather (with 2 heat packs) and even though the package got delayed in Indianapolis and arrived about 7 hours late, the geckos were fine.

I know that SYR states, do not ship if the daytime high temps are below 38 degrees, but does that apply, if you are shipping to a Fed EX hub to hold for pickup?
