Looks like this Thursday is going to be the big day!!! Dean and I have been talking about it for a few weeks now. My friend breeds APBT's and he bred a male that I absolutely adore. Well of course one of the females look just like him. She's been nicknamed Miss Piggy and is a laid back pup, just like daddy. She's 8 weeks as of this week and already can hold it through out the night and goes out 3-4 times a day. I can't wait to see her. I need to exercise and drop some weight(asthma and arthritis are acting up) and unfortunately my 16 yr old dog just isn't the best walking partner anymore. He's still spry but wears out alot faster than he used to now that he's gotten arthritis in the elbows. I'm hoping a little bundle of energy will help me keep more motivated with the weight loss and exercise. I enjoy having a partner and Tal was great when we did it several years ago. We already came up with a name, Q-tip. When I get pics you'll see why. I'm so excited!! Going to be shopping for food and some toys on thursday morning and am now in the process of house cleaning and puppy-proofing. The only thing I need to do is have him evaluate her this fall and see if he thinks she's worth keeping as a breeding dog and show for conformation or weight pull. If she's not, he'll spay her for me. If she is, he'll show her and I keep her. Nice deal for me.
To see a pic of her, go to www.hogdogkennel.com and go to puppies and she will be the little girl on the right of the pic with the all white face and little black eyes. Her parents are Joker(the daddy) and Blue Bounce(mommy). Both these dogs are great temperment and are raised around kids. Should fit in well with my active 3 yr old. Can't wait!!!!
