Finally got an axolotl. I still need to wait til month for me to get a properly gendered partner. For now he'll do. It is a male, right? @_@

He's such a cute little guy! I love his little white tummy

These are on my list of "fish" to get (I have a long list of fish I want LOL). The only thing is their size! Such a large tank for so few inhabitants.... What are your housing plans as he gets larger?

They're normally good singly on a 10-gal tank. I'm planning to have a pair so i'll be upgrading to a 35-gal once i get a nice female. They are very easy and simple pets to maintain when it comes to cleanliness. I'll probably just keep the bottom bare so filtration would be easy
