We got a new kitten on Thanksgiving but I've only had a chance to take a picture tonight. Charcoal was only 7 weeks old when we got her but she's growing like a weed. Right now, she's been the kitten from h***; she must think her name is "no biting". She has a thing about socks. She steals them whenever I'm folding the laundry and growls when I take them away. Our 11 year old cat is slowly getting used to her but for the moment they are kept on separate floors when we're not around to supervise. Here she is:

What a cute calico! :D I've always had a house full of cats *lol* at least 4 max. the sock thing is a weird one isn't it? My daughter's last male cat would play with socks. :main_laugh:

Awww what a cute lil kitty. The only thing I can offer to help with the hand biting is Grannick's bitter apple. It works wonders with dogs altho I've never used it with cats but it should work sell since cats are more sensitive to icky tasting things. You can also spray it on anything else she's stealing, chewing, or bothering. It doesn't discolor or bleach furniture or clothes. I love the stuff but only the grannicks. The all naturals doesn't work for beans.

Here's what it looks like and it's pretty inexpensive:

I'll probably pass on the bitter apple stuff since I'm worried I'll get it in my own mouth. I'm not too worried about the biting, it's just a phase and she's being well trained. When we first got her she'd get into my room in the mornings (she sleeps with one of my sons with the door closed till he gets up for school) and dive bomb my eyes. Now she just curls up with me. She's also gone from 5-6 feedings a day to 3-4 which is easier and my other cat is starting to play with her and not growling so much.

She looks like a calico in the picture, but actually she's largely tabby with big orange blobs breaking up the striping.
