wow thanks a lot for the quick replies gentlemen i really appreciate it that was exactly what i was looking for. My gf and i are going out later for dinner and i think i might pick up the tank. I'm so excited i have been trying for months to decide what i should get at the expo god its going to...
thanks for the replies guys. I went out to buy food for my albino cornsnake earlier and saw that 40gal reptile vivs w/screen cover were on sale so i am probably just going to pick up a 40g this weekend. I do have another question though. What lighting(hoods, and bulbs) do you guys find to work...
Ok i have been reading care sheets and am pretty good on what i would need if i were to pick up a bearded dragon (which is a possibility since my girlfriend and i are going to a reptile show on 4/11). I currently have a vacant 20g long tank that i would be putting it in while it is young...
My girlfriend and i recently went to a reptile show up in NH to get a new leopard gecko (which makes 4 haha). But while at the show i realized that i am really interested in purchasing a snake. These are some of my concerns/questions anything you can help with or any suggestions would be greatly...
minor update what looked like poo was actually the shells of the mealworms so it was a big partially digested ball of mealworm shells but they were all hollowed out with no insides left. It was just the shells. Anyone know what this means? or what we should do?

minor update i got like 5-6 more mealworms into him this afternoon and he pooped a little but it is diarrhea not solid normal poop, anyone know what can cause this? or if it would even be related
wow thanks a lot for your help i guess it isn't anything out of the ordinary then, we were freaking out because we have only ever had adults and know that if anything like that developed on them that it usually means impaction or something else bad. THanks a lot for your help.
Managed to take a couple decent pictures with the digi camera i held him/her up to the light and got some interesting pics with transparency hopefully these will help give people a better idea of what might be wrong.
thanks for the responses guys. Does anyone know more about what the spot could be? we guessed it is probably not impaction because of how high up on the abdomen, and i (adam) thought it was probably some sort of liver problem or internal bleeding perhaps from an old injury or being mishandled at...
This is what he/she looks like in general.. seems okay weight and pretty nice fat tail considering he was from a chain pet store. I heard sometimes these things play a factor on determining if they are impacted or not.. and as of the last hour we cannot get this lil one to eat.
