Mine will go into her moist hide for a couple of days at a time, then not go near it for 4 or 5 days. She always comes out to her warm spot eventually. I agree that if your gecko is eating and pooping OK then he'll probably be just fine.
DEFINITELY go with a breeder! We got a baby from a pet store and the poor little guy got sick and died within a month - he just literally wasted away. We got our latest from a breeder, and she is beautiful and healthy and worth every penny we paid.
What time of day do you feed your geckos? Seems like it would be best to feed at night since they are nocturnal, but Gigi is more active early in the morning than in the evening. Opinions?

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it! She ate for the second night in a row last night, so I'm thinking she's beginning to feel at home. I'm going to give her at least a few more days to adjust, and if all is well start working on getting her used to being handled.:main_thumbsup:
