Just jumping in here! I would recommend not feeding your gecko foods such as waxworms / mealworms too often as they're high in fat, but low in protein and nutrients. Instead, crickets and locusts are preferable :)
Bottle Fly Spikes should be kept in the fridge at temperatures between 35°F and 43°F. Keep stored on the damp sawdust they're packaged in for a longer shelf life
Ah, okay perfect! I'm sure they are accurate most of the time, I had just seen quite a few people suggesting to be aware of it! But if it works for you then that's great :)
Hi! I love the variety of plants and the products are good for leopard geckos. I would maybe reccomend having one or two places for your gecko to climb so maybe a foam background or some branches / vines / ledges, just so they can stay stimulated and explore.
I would also just like to mention...
Sorry to jump in - but what type of real plant do you recommend for a leopard gecko viv? I currently have artificial plants, but I am going to upgrade my leo's viv and am thinking of putting in real plants to increase humidity.
Also, would I need to change my heat lamp fort he plants?
Thanks!
Hey, so I want to make a custom background for my two female leopard geckos in their new viv and I have watched a few videos of people creating their backgrounds with expanding foam and silicone, but majority of them are American, so the products they use aren't available for me here in the UK...
