    Default Diet Help

Hey guys, so I am doing my research on different diets for my Crested Gecko and Garg. Currently I have them on a home made supplemented diet composed of fruits, protein, supplements, and repashy dusted crickets. However I now want to try some of the CGD's I have my choices of 3:

    1. Repashy... pretty decent product, with a really good name, however the supplier in my area is rather expensive.

    2. all living things CGD.... I can get it at my local ++++++++, has no corn and looks like some decent ingredients, average price.

    3. Clarks Gecko Diet.... I can't seem to find a supplier so any suggestions on where I can get it? decent price, decent ingredients, and the biggest bonus and draw is that I can eat it! (not that i would eat it that is, I just feel that if it isn't safe for humans to eat then why should i feed my geckos it)

So any input is much appreciated, I just want to ensure my guys are getting the best.

I haven't heard great things about Repashy. From what I've heard it was a good food until they changeed their forumla a few years back. Many people have said their geckos refuse it now and many have also said they had a lot of egg death and fertility issues the season after it switched. I don't feed it.

I haven't heard anything about or tried All Living things but none of the breeders I've talked to mentioned they use it or recommended it so I tend to think it's not a good choice.

I feed a mix of Pangea and Clarks. My small group of 6 cresteds seem to like them both - maybe the Clarks a bit more but I like to provide variety. You can buy it at: PMP Reptiles. I think Gecko Haven may sell it as well. Pangea can be bought directly from their company: pangeareptile.com

    Hope it helps!

Thanks a whole lot! One more question however, as I was leaning towards Clarks...

Is it an entire meal supplement, or do I have to still feed crickets too?

It is an entire meal supplement but most crested's appreciate bugs every now and again. The little ones especially need some or their growth rate will be really slow. They might take 2-3 years to mature without them. I feed dubia once a week for mine. Usually 3-6 appropriately sized ones. My adults are much less interested in insects than the little ones and they could definitely go without.
