    Default How to know female ready for breeding??

    Hello.. I have 2 years old female Pastel.. It is suitable for breeding??

    If she weighs at least 50 grams she is a good size and age for breeding. Now you have to wait for her to be ovulating. There are pictures of what ovulation looks like in leopard geckos that you can find online. Most leopard geckos will not be ovulating till the late winter/early spring.

    This is in ball python section. Just because its 2 years old doesn't mean it can breed. 1200 grams is minimum I've found online. 1500g is better.
