I might disagree with Marcia....
My females tend to have a triangular post cloacal 'bump'. I think this one might be a young male....

I too beleive this to be a young male. Thick tailds really are amazing little geckos, you should really enjoy them. I have a couple myself, wil no doupt get a couple more in future.
