    Default Can you id this bird?

    We have all kinds of birds behind our new house. This one was stuck out in the rain yesterday and I have no idea what kind it was. It was about 18"-24" tall. (We're on the Gulf Coast.)




    Sorry for the fuzzy photo, I was about 100' away. lol

    I think I figured it out! Possibly a juvenile Yellow Crested Night Heron.

    Definately a Night Heron. Not positive on the exact species though. And looks pretty young.

    Definately a juvenile yellow crowned night-heron due to the bill being black and the heavy structure of the bill.

    I agree. It is most definitely a juvenile yellow crowned night heron.

    I did my collage project about wild bird and definitely I can identify this bird as juvenile yellow crowned night heron.
    Childrens wall stickers and girls wall stickers are great birthday decoration ideas.

    It should be Grey Heron. These birds are mostly found in central of Europe.
