I grabbed this pure afghanicus at the Sacramento Reptile Show from Marcia at Golden Gate Geckos today. What a beauty! She's incredible in person! I don't think I've ever seen one this nicely colored and she's got an aberrant pattern as well. Thank you so much Marcia for letting me have this beauty! I won't forget you when her offspring arrive, don't worry! Oh yeah, my little boy Ty LOVES his new addition! He thanks you as well.

Pictures taken with no flash straight from my iPhone. Probably won't do her justice, but it's all I've got!

Thanks everyone.

really nice, i like the wild genes wish i knew alot more about them though..

Yes, these are wild genes! The afghanicus are beautiful by themselves....I think more so than any of the other sub species IMO. I will be crossing one of my afghans with a beautiful Halloween Mask/BS I produced this year and will use another one of my afghanicus in something really special. :main_evilgrin: I can't wait!

thats cool the afghanicus is one of the best, but i prefer fascio and macularius macularius. but yeah sub species are nice on their own, but the roots go well with combos , and im assuming the really something special is marble eye? lol.

Thanks for posting, Chris! It was GREAT finally meeting you and your family, and I'm thrilled to have one of my babies in your care. I'm looking forward to a new friendship and gecko-swapping with you.

Is her head really as lavender as it looks? She's like a little kaleidescope with all her colors going on, that's one of the nicest Afghans I've seen. Marcia is awesome, so are her geckos.

Actually, she's basically neon, glow in the dark colorful! Check out these pics I took after she settled down and got her colors back. This is just natural ambient light taken with my iphone. I'm telling you, she's unreal in person. Nicest afghan I've ever laid eyes on. Did I thank you enough yet Marcia? THANK YOU!!
