Are there any more base morphs than what’s on this list? Also, do I have the form of inheritance for all of them correct (besides the ones I had no idea on)?

1. Carmel Albino (recessive)
2. Clown (I have no idea)
3. Axanthic (recessive)
4. Patternless (recessive)
5. Strip (Unknown)
6. White Sock (I have no idea)
7. White Out (Co-Dom)
8. Aberrant (Polygenetic)
9. Normal (Polygenetic)
10. Zero (I have no idea)

I've never heard of any of these or stingers for that matter either. Any links to info on them at least, pics perhaps?

starburst!

mo, the starburst aka sunburst was a tang line a guy named mark had about 10 yrs ago. I dont know what happened to him or his animals:main_huh:I know he hasnt been in business for a long time. there are a few of us working on increasing the tangerine color in the normals, mine jokingly were called "florida citrus" and kinda stuck. personaly they are just tangerine normals LOL but I dont mind if you call them citrus LOL:main_yes:

So, Ghost, Stinger, and Tangerine is all I missed?

Are there any more line breed traits I missed, besides Tangerines?

Thanks

check this out.

according to the poster, the "starburst" is the light band inside the dark band.

this is the only time ive ever seen this morph, and the only time ive ever seen a picture of a "starburst", and it was also the first time i'd actually heard a starburst described.

whatever it is, it looks pretty cool. the poster said he got it from a breeder in france.

as far as your florida citrus go, ive been drooling over your geckos for a while now. the only reason i havent contacted you for a concrete purchase is i made a promise to myself ( and more importantly to my girlfriend ;) ), that the next gecko i bought, i would buy with money i made from selling geckos i bred myself.

there are a few people whose sites i check out all the time, and your site is one of them. your right up there with urban, jmg, and vms.

hey mo, I saw the pic looks like a normal amel het to me, nothing against them and maybe the person that they got them from got their breeders from mark, but that animal doesnt reprsent the name at all. the name sunburst/starburst was coined by him and was the name of his tang and peach line.
ps. I really appreciate the compliment on my geckos, thanks :main_thumbsup:

well nick, i bow to your experience, but please take another look. i know at first glance it looks basically like a normal/wild type. but if you look you will see it has an extra band inside the dark band. at least thats what it looks like to me. i see what looks like a lot of potential with a little line breeding.

now, maybe that is not what the orginal starburst/sunburst geckos look like, and maybe that is a total misrepresentation of the name, but it still looks dang cool to me. and im not lookin at the tang color at all, im lookin at the extra band inside the dark band.

personally ive never seen anything like it before, and ive spent way way too much time lookin at afts online. but thats just my opinion, and im just an amateur.

mo, I see what your looking at :main_yes:I call them broken bands, Ive seen a few different variations in my tangs. some where the bands are broken with the tang body tone or with hypo blotches (one of my new projects:main_rolleyes:). here are a few pics of what Im talking about.

ps nicholas sorry we hijacked your thread!
