this is my raptor breeding group this year a blood raptor male from jmg to some sunglow raptors i hope to get some great color from them the females are gravid so will have eggs soon. i did breed the blood male to an eclipse female het tremper and got two baby raptors only a few weeks old right now will post when they get up to size

Good luck with this project! He looks great :main_thumbsup: Hope you get nice Blood Raptor babies. How does it work with Blood Raptors, do both dam and sire have to be Blood Raptor or is one sufficient to get such babies?

Im not 100%going sure on that. I belive jmg was the first to produce thesea but dontI hold meu too that.Obviously if u bred a blood to blood u would get a blood.I just hope with breeding a blood to sunglows that one day I will be able to produce a nice solid red patternless raptor.but im sure these should be nice raptors

You can produce a Blood Raptor from just one parent. I have a blood raptor that came from one blood parent (Blood Raptor Cross). I will breed him to a Pure Blood. I think the result will be a deeper red color though the more Blood added into it. It really does vary though for the simple fact that some babies come out deep colored and some don't. Hope you are successful in producing deeper orange ones.
