what size or dimensions does everyone use for their to put their eggs in? I have a hovobator 1602N. can I get away with using those clear deli containers or are they not airtight enough?

This year I'm using reptipro5000 and SIM, but for the past 5 years I used hobovators with gladware or rubbermaid sandwich sized containers. I much prefer a square or rectangular container to a round one because they are easier to fit together in the (square) hobovator and it's easier to fit more eggs in. I could fit 10-14 eggs in each one and at the height of my season had 4 sandwich sized containers in the hobovator, all full.

I also find that a quick and easy way is to take a punched deli and just tape the holes. Most keepers of geckos have deli cups their animal arrived in :)

Kelli's link and Aliza's method are great info that I second :D

I have had over 120 eggs in a hova in deli cups in a pinch with 2-3 clutches per deli.

Can I fit 3 eggs in a 16 oz deli container??

sure you can. I have put 4 in one that were of the same genetic cross many times. I would do each clutch seperate if you can though.

you wouldn't know which parent cross came from what egg if 1 of each clutch hatched the same day ;-) Like I said though , 1 clutch per deli is always the best route to take if possible.
