different size egg = difference size babies ?

So one of my SG female normals 50% het albino & patternless was bred to my young SG albino patternless and i noticed a big difference in the clutch so far. Her first time laying the eggs were very long and now her newer clutch is small and thick like regular leo eggs. So my question is has anyone noticed a size difference between hatchlings who were hatched out from long and plump eggs vs short plump eggs. I guess time will tell with these but i would still like to hear from others

personally i have never noticed any difference. you know like i do that throughout incubation they can go from small to very big sometimes. i would imagine it has to do with the growth rate of the individual gecko (in the egg)

We've had clutches where one of the eggs will get HUGE but both babies hatch the same size. I haven't noticed egg size having much to do with baby size (unless they're giants). I think it has to do with the thickness of the egg shell and how much water it absorbs during incubation. That being said, eggs from giants are typically a little larger because the parents and babies are larger. I wouldn't say that they're usually drastically larger than regular eggs though.

I have noticed that the larger eggs tend to hatch out female...

David, that was a few years ago but I want to say that they were laid normal size and just ballooned up. The only thing I can think is that they were absorbing a lot of water from the vermiculite. It's very humid here and when we switched to Hatchrite I didn't notice as many "water balloons". Giant eggs on the other hand, are usually laid bigger and grow at the same rate as regular eggs.
