Hi. Got two leos right now, a girl and a BIG boy!

My issue is that he weighs 100 freaking grams.. and she weighs only 56g. I dont think he is like "fat" he´s only big I think.

But I want to make the girl gain a few gram´s and drop some weight on the boy. And im new to this and wondering if it is common that they eat one day and wont eat the next one? Cuz they both feed from my hand alot the first night I got them (yesterday) and today only the male ate.

I want to handfeed since I got papertowels as substrate and the crickets will just hide under there if I let them lose.

I have a very large male that weighs 125 grams. I feed him twice a week, on Sunday and Wednesday. I give him about 10 mealworms per feeding. Sometimes he finishes them all and sometimes he doesn't. If I tried to feed him more than twice a week he would probably totally ignore his food.

I have a 100g male that I feed 10 mealworms or 2 dubia only once a week. He's maintained his bulk for a year that way even though I was hoping he'd lose a few grams...haha. I have 2 year old females that range from 45-70g. I keep them at a weight that is healthy for them. I would hesitate to keep geckos that are very different sizes together.

Are they in the same enclosure/tank? If so, he might be stressing her by trying to "do stuff" to her... :0

We use a $2 pack of small aquarium rocks (too big to eat) to hold our carpet flat to the floor in the corners. It works out well and give our geckos a chance to hunt. :)
