I know... I didn't see this part coming, really. Since these guys take so long to mature and live 30 years plus (we don't know exactly how long), so it's really a very different experience from the faster maturing animals.

I could be RETIRED and still have this gecko!!! That's just crazy.

I've been thinking about a name since the day I bought her, and one night I was sharing with my ideas with my wife. She said "Call her Barbara."

So I did.

Wasn't that anticlimactic? I'm thinking I may name the male Leonard... don't know for sure, but it will have to be an older name that meshes well with my "Barb".
