Jeff hasn't gotten too many "supers" , but as he states, none have thrived. I can't agree with a blanket statement of "lethal combo" myself. Anyone who has tried to get new combos or multi genetic combos understands the odds go down ;)

Very interesting, I hope they have better luck with the supers. I have to say though that I still really like those patty whiteouts, their colors are just wild!

I agree with your appraisal based on the limited information I have seen so far.

Wow fatties have come a long way.

I do not agree that any "lethal combination" would hatch out at all.

That Super White Out looks pretty cool(along with the other morphs), almost like a "super snow" FAT TAIL. So cool!

It will happen...

It depends on what aspect of health or development is impacted. Some lethal traits exist in present day in various diseases because they only have a lethal impact beyond the point where people become reproductive. Some are lethal because of accumulated problems associated with the defect. Therefore, the lethality in such a case, were it to be the case, would take time and could easily occur post-hatching in some instances.

Mind you, I still agree with Paul for now. I'll just bide my time and see if it can be worked out in the next few years, assuming folks don't give up on the idea.

They just updated their morph page with a video of the patternless white out and pics of super white out hatchlings. Unfortunatley the super white has been lethal so far.

My quote said "so far" not definately. I posted this because they look cool and the potential is there. :)

Thad, my reply wasn't directed at you. I was making a statement from what I personally know and sharing my view.

Got ya. Guess I just understood "lethal gene" as being completely lethal from the beginning, meaning they would form but not live at all, or simply never be formed at all. Interesting. Thanks!
