I added another fish tank and had to move Liam, the leo, next to my 10 gallon tank. That was a mistake! She's spent hours staring at the fish! Don't worry I put a solid divider between the two tanks so that she can't see them anymore :p
Silly Liam-

I'm gonna catch it... I'm gonna catch it...

I was cleaning my snake's tank once, and I put Mugsy's travel tank next to my WTF (white's tree frog) tank without thinking about it. I looked over, and Mugsy was standing up as much as he could staring at Chance, and Chance was staring right back at him, and I swear Chance was licking her lips, lol. Pet interactions are fun!

Love it! Having 2 african cichlid tanks and an axolotl the same room as all my reptiles gets interesting lol I've caught the axolotl staring at the geckos more than the other way around!

Thanks everyone! Would it be a bad thing to allow her to see the fish for a few hours a day? She's usually asleep since I only keep the light on during the day and I think the thrill died down a little for her. Would it interrupt her day cycle by keeping her up or anything?

you made a comment on "windexing" your tank... please use caution when doing so... overspray and vapours will kill your fish, and possibly your leo. always spray into the rag or paper towel... NEVER on the glass...

Food for thought.

glass cleaner is one of the #1 causes of ammonia spikes, and fish loss in aquarium water BTW. honestly. think about it... how mny times do people... (not saying you in particular) walk into a room, spray their hairspray/air freshener/cologne/perfume/windex etc etc etc... and not even THINK of the tank next to them...

cheers.

I think she'll be ok. Mine don't sleep ALL day and they don't stay awake ALL night. She'll know when to sleep.

Don't worry, I use the same stuff to clean the fish glass that I use to clean
Liam's cage. It's basically a sterile water solution. It's mainly marketed for cleaning wounds etc but it can be used to clean the enclosure which is what I use it for. It kills all bacteria on contact, including mrsa. The fishies and the lizard are safe :)

I use vinegar, completely safe in and out of the fish tanks. Water tit down to half and half and it can be used to clean algae off the inside of the tank, very effective, just ignore the smell for a hour or so. Not sure how a leo might handle it. And yes i have seen 1,000s of case of some moron spraying air freshner and then say "why did my fish die?" I actually had a case where they posted a pic of their room, they had a air freshner on the shelf above the tank... I think it will be fine to let her see the fishys, just be sure she doesnt lunge at the glass.
