my gecko doesnt know how to eat out the bowl, and hits his head on the bowl

He sees the meal worms because its see through but doesn't know how to look in the bowl, not through it. I held a worm above the bowl he saw it came closer and just as he was on the bowl i dropped it in the bowl so he saw that there's more in the bowl and he learned to eat it finally, but then he backs up and tries again but he hits his head.. what bowls do you guys use that is see through but really short??

He'll learn.. I feel bad for mine when one slams their nose against the glass or other hard objects, but they get used to it. They are so intent on snatching up the cricket that they don't care..in time they do it less because they usually learn to hunt better.

They usually learn eventually, but it helps if the bowl you use isn't clear. I use these mealworm dishes myself, works very well.

Haha okay thanks guys I tried the non clear nd he didnt see it but when I used the clear one he was on the move but then acted a little slow by hitting his nose on the glass hahahaha awww I feel bad but thanks I hope he learns
