hey guys!

so, a few days ago, i was venturing into a little fish store around here. the guy that owns it is great for fish, but people have a habit of dropping off herps all the time and he does not look after them properly. so, i went in there, and found this little girl. she has no heat and humidity in her cage. she was right by a window and the front door, which was PROPPED OPEN IN 14 DEGREE WEATHER. needless to say, she was in rough shape.

i only have a before picture on my phone (i wish i had taken more), but she was stuck in the middle of a shed. it looked a few days old, and there was at least three layers of skin stuck around her toes. the moment i saw her i knew that i couldn't leave her there, so i paid for her, brought her home and immediately plopped her into the bath. as of now, she has no shed stuck anywhere on her body, and a few of her toes look like they won't turn into complete nubs. unfortunately, she does not have a single toe nail left. she is, however, eating very well and has even gained a gram since i got her. she's a survivor, for sure, and i thought i'd share her story with you guys! she's doing awesome and loves, loves, loves sitting directly over her heat mat. making up for lost time, i guess!

the picture is here, and she is seriously the best behaved girl in the world. totally in love <3

She'll be a really pretty gecko once you can get some fat on her and her natural color back. She has a nice striped pattern! :main_thumbsup: With your good care, she'll bounce back in no time :main_yes:
