I decided to start breeding mealworms to cut the cost of having to buy food for my leos. I didn't have any luck with crickets. I put a potato in with them and a damp paper towel for moisture. Im using corn bread, and oats for bedding. I didnt wanna disturb the beetles so I just took a picture of the worms.

Does everything look good?

Make sure your changing out the potato every day (you can also use other veggies and fruits I rotate between carrots, potatoes and apples) and that alone should be enough moisture. You want them to get their moisture from food but you dont want too much moisture so I would ditch the towel. Are you seperating them when they turn to aliens and then again when they change to beetles? If you dont they can eat each other and you will lose more.
