well when i first got my gecko i used (repto carpet) it was ok until i found out that they get stuck in it when they eat. So i started using eco earth for them just about a month ago, it works fine so ima use that for a while until i find something better. As of lighting i dont use day bulbs because mine is a bright color. So now i use a night time heat lamp all the time. And now as far as food goes i just use mealworms, waxworms , and crickets so far. In the future im hoping to start feeding them (Blaptia Dubia) roaches.

You need at least 2 hides, an under tank heat pad, calcium dish, and a water bowl. I wouldn't have a light it can stress them. Their heat comes from their belly so you definitely need a heat mat. Make one hide moist, you can do this with a wet paper towel or some moss. The best substrate to use is tile, paper towels, or newspaper. You want to stay away from any loose substrate like sand or dirt until the gecko is grown and you are sure they have enough calcium. Young ones can eat sand looking for calcium they are missing. Look up care sheets on Leos and it will tell you everything you need to know. Good luck.
