Pearlite with miracle grow

So there is no vermiculite which is what we used last time, the only thing we could find was perlite with miracle grow. You can't use that can you?

If we can't find that, what else could we use for the lay box and incubation?

No, the miracle grow isn't natural and you don't want chemicals in your incubation medium. I use coco fiber in my lay boxes. You can order perlite online for pretty cheap. Otherwise there are other substrates (hatchrite, superhatch) that you can incubate with.

What are you talking about Khrysty???
How do you think they make giants??? :main_laugh::main_laugh::main_laugh:

As Khrysty said it is ill advised to use perlite with miracle grow... Although there has been no solid proof that it will negatively affect the eggs or growing embryo, it is not really worth the chance when you can order regular perlite or a variety of other incubation substrates...
