Possible heating element for incubator?

My dad brought home a "strip heater" today from work, i'm thinking I could use it to convert a mini fridge into an incubator. It's about 7" long, 1.5" wide, 100W, 120V, and has two terminals sticking out of it. From what i've read online, these things can get HOT. Slap a dimmer switch on it, mount it to the fridge, maybe mount a fan in front of it to distribute the heat throughout the fridge, and i'm done. Does this sound good? I've got some pics of it, i'll post them soon.

sounds like it should work fine!
i wouldn't use a dimmer switch on it though, i'd use the best thermostat you can afford.
