Slow Uro Growth

Does anyone know how fast an Ornate Uromastyx is supposed to grow? We bought an ornate hatchling from a Tampa show 9 or 10 months ago from Lindsay Pike and he's barely grown!! He probably weighs 25 - 30 grams or so; does this sound right? We're just keeping him as a pet, so we're not waiting to breed him, but I want to make sure he's okay! If anyone knows any info on this please enlighten me!!

One of the reasons why Uros are not bred more in captivity as much as lizards is because they are INSANELY slow growers. But I guess what can you expect when there is an incubation time of 8-9 months?
