I like the arrangement of the set-up, but.... ditch the gravel! The overhead light is not really necessary with an under tank heater (UTH), too. Do you know what the surface temperatures are on the warm side of your set up?

I wouldn't mind being your gecko! :main_cool3:

i hardly use the heating pad.

the light keeps its around 85 during the day.
and then room temp at night. (70-75)

is there anything more proper than gravel? all that i could find at the local pet store. i didnt exactly go hunting if you know what i mean.

Gravel, sand, bark, anything loose like that is BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!It can make the leo become impacted.I guess you could compare it to us being so constipated that we die.Slowly.That is like a leo.I use repitle carpet and I think that it would look great im your cage. You could get some green. Also if you don't want to attrive a very good look then you could use paper towels.Just don't use anything lose. And DONT listen to petshops.
