This is the sweet girl that you all identified as a tremper albino for me and rumbolt.

This "Big Girl" is one of two that I will be receiving on Tuesday. Tremper Albino Giant. More pics to come when I get her.

And this beautiful man is the second one that I anxiously await for on Tuesday. Bold Stripe.

Nice collection! :main_yes: Your "sweet Tang guy" is 100% a girl :D Look under her tail. No bulges at all at that age... must be a female!

Are you using ground walnut shell as a substrate, or is this just a nicely-colored plastic tile?? Any loose substrate is a potential impaction hazard. I would avoid it. Otherwise, the cage looks very nice; caves, plant, rock wall... :main_thumbsup:

Male or Female, he/she is about 6 months old I am told. I assumed male because of the dark pores and "small" bulges.

As for the substrate, yes it is grounded walnut shells, I was told this was ok but after reading these forums the past few days I know I need to get rid of it, I have a box of ceramic tiles purchased, but one question, will the under the tank heat pad heat through the ceramic tile sufficiently?

yep it will if you need too increase the heat then there are ways like changing what you have under the tiles or putting aluminum foil under the uth, i use paper towel between the tiles and glass.

Oops, he definitely has pores :main_yes:  :p He's still young, so hopefully his "manhood" will become really obvious soon, haha :D

Chrissy

haha I will tell him to cheer up, he still has time haha.

Thanks for the tips on heating the ceramic, now to get me a tile cutter :main_laugh:
