Just thought I'd post a few more pictures up (I am really restraining myself here, to keep from posting a ton of pictures! lol... I'm trigger happy) of my latest little guy. I absolutely adore him! He's got this weird personality that cracks me up. He even started wagging his tail at me when I used my regular camera first because there's a red LED light that comes up for maybe half a second before taking a picture, I guess he didn't like it
Way to tell me Pidge. Well at least he didn't bite me when I went to pick him up! Sweetest little gecko I've ever met/owned.
BTW, that cage in the background is my hamster... If I put him anywhere else he tries to run off; I think they're soul mates.
He looks so much healthier since I got him, plus I finally got him to eat mealworms to vary his diet and fatten him up. Can't wait for my superworms to finish pupating so I can get to breeding some smaller, fit-in-his-mouth sized ones.
5 inches! And only about 2 months old? Is that "normal" (because I know all geckos grow at different rates, but as in would you expect any gecko to be smaller or even larger than that for this age) or did I maybe mess up guessing his approximate age? Darn pet stores.
Not a super clear picture but I think some tiny bulges are coming in. I thought he might just be a he (I tried the Wegner Method a few days after I got him and just today, I still see hemipenes... but I know it's not always accurate)
Always checking out the camera before I can finish... Always climbing on the camera or my face lol.
Smile!
Some not very great but better-than-anything-I-could-usually-do eye pictures.
Is it just me or does that kind of look like a broken stripe? The other gecko that the store was selling when I got him had a broken stripe as well but it was black... It's shed the stripe off however since I last saw it.
Mealworm bin!!
