If your controlling an incubator they are fine,but if you are controlling heat tape I wouldnt recommend the cheap thermostats.Im not going to gamble my leos with the cheap stuff.I have 2 herpstats for my two racks

i've used the first two. the first one kinda sucks it varies too much, and the cover sometimes wont fit with cretin heating items and the dial can move easily. the second one is a bit better but it still takes 4*F before it will turn back on. NOTE: i only used these for tanks NOT incubators. i would recommend not using these for incubators. the more you pay is sometimes more worth it i got one that was about $150Cnd. and it only goes down one degree before turning back on but thats just because its only for a tank and i like to know when the heat mat is on and when its off.

The first one is not good lol. I have it and used it for my incubator and it fluctuates WAY to much.
