Young fat tail in 17 qt sweater box?

So I've got a young fat tail that I got from Nick at Lecko my Gecko as I've mentioned before. She's only around 2 months old, and is currently in a critter keeper that is probably about 6"W x 12"L. I'm weird and really don't like these critter keepers. Would it be too much to put her in a 17 qt sweater box that is 12"W x 18"L? I don't want her to feel insecure in her surroundings... and I know that it's possible that it's too big. But what do some of you think about it?

I set up the sweater box before I even got her, since I was expecting to get something bigger, but when I brought her home I was afraid to put such a small gecko in the sweater box, I thought it would be too big. I still think it may be too big, but if it could work I'd be way happier with her set-up...

I'm just rambling at this point, what do you guys think?

That sounds fine to me. I keep my leopard gecko hatchlings in 10"x12" spaces and they have no trouble. This is just a little bigger.

That's exactly the kind of answer I want to hear!

I'd still like to hear as many opinions on this as possible, though, so please chime in if you have an opinion on this.

Also what would be some warning signs of a gecko that doesn't feel secure in their home? Incase I do decide to move her, I want to be able to notice if she doesn't like the larger enclosure.

Many geckos will show signs of being uncomfortable no matter where you put them and then, unless there's another gecko bullying them or the enclosure is so big they can't find their food, they will settle in to about anywhere with the proper heat, etc.

Like stated above, just have enough hides, plants, etc. Also, make sure it is eating, I would think the biggest concern would be them not being able to find enough food. As long as it is finding its food fine (and I doubt it would have much trouble) then it should be okay.
