another new gecko lover!

hi, i am the latest newbie nice to meet you all
i have been wanting a snake forever (yes a snake )
buy the terrarium and all the stuff to keep it warm and cozy
and finally after months of wanting........ goes to the reptile breeder
and dang he had to show me his gecko T_T
and i fall in love at first sight whit one
and here i am whit a sexy fat tail gecko i am in love whit.... and no snake
it is my first reptile so i may be asking a lot of silly question
also im sry for my bad spelling but i am not english speaking

he is striped whit a superb dark expresso color and caramel capucino
no picture yet sry.. i dont wanna disturb him for a few day
i had it a few hours ago

Welcome! Sounds like you have an African Fat Tail. Browse around these boards and see what people say about how to keep them properly. Proper temperatures and adequate food/supplements are very important. Also providing a MOIST hide is essential if you want the gecko to shed properly and be happy!

Hi and welcome to GF, well i find Leo's nicer than snakes.lol they need feeding well before handling but i do hope you enjoy the forum and get the answers you want.
