Breeder age?

How old is two old for a female and a male to breed? I have a couple of geckos I wont be able to breed for couple of years cause ill be starting school and wont have much time for the breeding project I once was starting on. So my plans will have to wait for a year or two... I was told that 4 years old is too old but Ive seen people breed geckos that were 6 years old before.

18 - 48 months old is the reccomended age but I bet a healthy 4 year old female could breed

Females can produce eggs well into their 6th-8th year, but production decreases after 3-4 years old usually.
