You can use reptile carpet, or maybe larger unpainted aquarium gravel after a hot rinse. You can lay down tile as well and I've heard from breeders at bhb reptiles the you can use coconut fiber (Not sure if this is just for breeding, but if its acceptable for breeding season, why not right?). Hope these options gave you some kind of idea of what you're looking for. Peace mate!

My personal favorite is Excavator Clay. =) You can make a really awesome looking habitat and it hardens so there is no risk of impaction.

Thanks for the ideas. For now ill switch to aquarium gravel. But when I get a bigger tank ill look into the clay, it sounds like a really cool idea. Thank again
