First baby from our TWIN-project..

Hi together!

This cute little one finally hatched out on my birthday at May 12 :smitten:, and is the very first baby from our Twin x Twin - pairing.

I cannot tell you how happy I am, as I have been waiting for this moment for over 2 years :daisy:..

The Twin-father is a possible giant, and this little baby is HUGE, so he or she might be a giant, too. Time will tell :main_thumbsup:..

In some studies about human twins, scientists assume that the twin "gene" (if there is one) jumps over one generation. We plan to cross this offspring back to their parents, and hopefully the results will give us some new cognitions for the future ...

Thank you so very much everybody !!

I am so sorry for my long absence in the forums- my vet.med. study is taking most of my time right now due to the many exams, so I even had to reduce my stock and the number of hatchlings this year (only 4 babys so far).
I hope it will get better next semester..

I will keep you updated about this project- the little one has just the same gentle and tame look in his eyes like his mother :smitten:, and is already easy to handle. Its clutchmate is ready to hatch anytime now :main_thumbsup:..
