what type of gecko is this a young boy came back with him the other day just knows its a gecko

That's a very fuzzy picture.
All I can say is it's not a fat-tail, and not in the Eublepharine family at all.

Can you get a more focused picture? Looks like a fast little bugger.

I was going to say...I believe it's actually a "white spotted gecko"

great thanks at least that narrows it down a bit i will get some better pics soon i will go have a look it is my girlfriends sister that has it now and they have never had any type of lizard before so they came to me as i have afew gargs and chameleons but i have never seen a gecko like this. whats the best way to keep him same as my own gargs or what?? it looks like it comes from that same habitat but something tells me it might need abit more heat dont no y ps ar they nocturnal ?
