How do you introduce a male and a female?

I have a young male who's outgrowing his smaller viv, I was wondering if anyone had any useful tips to safely introduce him to my adult female as I'd ideally like them to live together. Also if anyone has any pointers on what to do if they start fighting...

Well.. it's not really the best Idea to keep and male and female together seeing as it would cause stress for both of them. On top of that you may get unwanted fertile eggs. Your best thing would be to just buy a 20 gallon tank for your Male Leo and keep the two apart. 20gallon tanks at walmart are only 13ish dollars. Also by stress i mean that the male would keep trying to breed the female even when not ready and it will stress the female out a lot.
