How long?

How long does it usually take for a hatchling to start to eat? I have had one for 2 days so far and has not eaten. I have tried Dubia, meal worms and crickets and nothing!

Wait until its had its first shed it should start eating after that.

What is the average time for them to shed for the first time?

They usually shed and poop within a week and then they should start to look for food.

Well she was born on 08.25 and on 08.27 she was in shed and on 08.28 I put four Dubia nymphs in her bin. On 08.29 morning all four where gone and today I witnessed her eat three more! So happy she started eating so quickly, and that she jumped right on the Dubia nymphs!
