Hi guys and gals I am new to this site. The reason why I joined was cause my leopard gecko has a health problem. Yesterday night 2/8/11 I noticed my little leopard gecko was not using his back legs at all while he was walking. I took him out to see what was wrong and I couldn't find anything. But I did notice that his lower back was arched. He has never been dropped or anything of that kind. I brought him to the vet today. She took some x-rays and she said he might have metablic bone disease because when we looked at his x-rays you couldn't even see the bone in his legs. She had no idea what could be causing his back to be arched. So she is senting me to a specialist. I have a UVB and UVA light on him now to help him get some vitamin D. He doesn't seem like he is in any pain. He is still his normal crazy self. I would really like to do whatever is best for him. If putting him down is best for him then I will. If you have any recommendations on anything please tell me thanks so much!
