Hello guys I’m Callie & I’m from sunny England UK, I work in the motor trade and live with my partner and 9yo son.
we are not completely new to the reptile scene we’ve had a yamen chameleon and both crestie and leopard geckos.
Charlie is about 10 months old (estimated by the pet shop) and I’m almost certain he’s a boy.
Charlie lives in a large bioactive enclosure and shares with plenty of spring tails and isopods, he has a good amount of live plants to hide in and climb on and a 5% UVB light during the day.
Charlie is a massive fan of insects he loves a good hunt, he doesn’t think much to jelly pots and powder mix though so I am trying to persuade him to eat a varied diet no matter how much he avoids it
The pet shop told me Charlie is very shy and rarely makes an appearance during the day but as you can see by the photos Charlie is a curious galthough sometimes skittish he is still fairly new but comes to say hi now and again.
most of the advice I will be asking on here will be in regards to bioactive set ups and general crestie health.
