I have a pair of fatties. This is the second year for my girl. Last yr we had 8 eggs and no hatchlings. This year we've had 8 so far and they appeared to be pink and developing for the past 4-6 weeks. Now they are molding over. not heavy like a bad leo egg just alittle fuzz. Any suggestions my incubator is at 83, they are on APS in delicups. I do get humidity on the sides of the cup.

I have had more fattie eggs go bad than leo eggs and have heard that it is harder to succeed with them. My advice is to gently wipe off the mold and keep them till they either hatch or shrivel/stink. If they are clearly no good, you may want to open one and see if there actually is an embryo in there. Last year I got 4 hatchlings from 8 eggs, mostly due to a female that kept laying outside the lay box. This year I have had a total of 14 eggs from 2 females (12 from one and the first 2 from the other). Of these, I would say about 7 look good, 2 of which have hatched last week.
