Need help putting together a Day gecko tank.

I have a 20 tall for him till he grows bigger then I will use the 40 gal. or build him something.

So I have a uvb 10 tube, but Ive been reading that this may not be a good light for Madagascar giant day geckos.
I am completely new to these day geckos so Im a bit lost with setting up a baby tank.
Any help would be great.
Heat, I have both flexwatt and a 50 watt halogen (which may be too hot so I have a 35 halogen too)

I can use the flex at night.
What about humidity? Any ideas besides the daily mistings?
Do they drink out of a dish?

I will be gettiing him next week.

Get this book: Day Geckos in Captivity by Leann and Greg Christenson. It's available on their website: Leaping Lizards Home Page.

Especially read their lighting section. That's what I did before I set up my first day gecko enclosure 7 years ago (and she's still doing great).

Also be aware that Giant Day Geckos as adults may require more space than many people allow. It may be a good idea to get some opinions about that from experienced keepers.
